Types of Appliances:Our regular metal braces is the standard preadjusted edgewise appliance. We also use self ligating systems like Damon Mx3,Damon Q etc with Damon HANT wires.Self ligating systems guarantees freedom from elastomeric ligatures, means more hygiene.Longer activation appointments.Especially good for non extraction cases.

Orthodontics involves the use of corrective appliances, including braces and retainers, to straighten crooked teeth and/or repair an irregular bite.

Esthetic Brackets : Ceramic brackets offer an excellent esthetic solution.Self ligating ceramics offer the advantage of ceramic clarity and the freedom from ligatures.

Incognito: One of the best lingual systems. It is completely invisible. No labial decalicification.Custom made braces offer maximum comfort and an excellent finish.

Treatment Duration :

1to1½ years for regular cases

2 to3 years for complicated cases

Retention :

To maintain the results, retention is a must as we are altering the natural equilibrium.Retainers are removable or fixed.some cases may require long term or indefinite retention.

Prosthodontic treatments are designed to produce a balance between functionality, longevity and esthetics. Prosthodontic treatments include the following:

• Dental Bridge -
A bridge is a dental device that is used to fill a space where a tooth has been removed. The false tooth is attached to the other two teeth around the missing tooth to form a bridge. Maintaining a good oral hygiene will increase the life of a bridge.

• Dental Veneers -

Veneers are used for teeth that are severely discolored, misshapen, crooked, having small holes, or to correct unwanted or uneven spaces. They are bonded to the teeth to give a natural look.

Crowns and caps -
Dental crowns also referred to as "dental caps” or "tooth crowns," are dental restorations that cover over and encase the tooth on which they are cemented. Dentists make use of dental crowns when need to rebuild broken or decayed teeth, strengthen teeth, or improve the cosmetic appearance of a tooth

• Dentures -
Dentures are prosthetic devices constructed to replace missing teeth, and which are supported by surrounding soft and hard tissues of the oral cavity. Dentures can be complete or partial. It can be removed easily for washing and cleaning. Dentures are done when the patient has lost real teeth.

Our teeth are meant to last a lifetime. Sometimes, however, damage occurs to a tooth and the inside of the tooth becomes infected. This infection damages the pulp of the tooth - the network of blood vessels and nerves inside. Left untreated, the damaged pulp can cause infection that will damage the bone around the tooth and cause swelling and pain. If the damaged tooth becomes infected, Endodontist may have to perform an endodontic treatment called Root Canal Therapy to save it. Endodontic treatment is necessary when the pulp, the soft tissue inside the root canal, becomes inflamed or infected. The inflammation or infection can have a variety of causes: deep decay, repeated dental procedures on the tooth, or a crack or chip in the tooth. In addition, an injury to a tooth may cause pulp damage even if the tooth has no visible chips or cracks. If pulp inflammation or infection is left untreated, it can cause pain or lead to an abscess.

Signs of needing Endodontic treatment

• Pain
• Prolonged sensitivity to heat or cold
• Tenderness to touch and chewing
• Discoloration of the tooth
• Swelling, drainage and tenderness in the lymph nodes and as well as nearby bone and gingival tissues.

Endodontic treatment saves the tooth

The endodontist removes the inflamed or infected pulp, carefully cleans and shapes the inside of the canal, a channel inside the root, then fills and seals the space. Afterwards, you will return to your dentist, who will place a crown or other restoration on the tooth to protect and restore it to full function.

After restoration, the tooth continues to function like any other tooth.
